What is RP Kids about?

Rock Point Kids Ministry exists to glorify God by sharing the good new of Jesus Christ to the next generation.

Everything we do at Rock Point Kids points to Jesus. Our team, our space, and our curriculum are all focused on teaching kids to follow Jesus, love one another, and make disiciple-makers.

Important Info

CHECK-IN: Check-in opens 15 minutes before each service starts.

CHECK-OUT: Adults 18 and older with the pick-up label will be allowed to check out your child from RP Kids. If you lose the pick-up label, RP Kids staff will be available to verify your identity and help you pick up your child. This process is to ensure the safety of your child and our team members. The alpha-numeric code on your family’s labels will change each week for an added measure of security.

SAFETY: In RP Kids, safety is our top priority. All of our RP Kids team members are trained and screened to ensure safe care.

Please let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have, so that we can best care for your child.

New Here?

If you are visiting for the first time, you will need to register your child by visiting the New Guests Registration Desk in the hallway where you will provide brief information about you and your child. To ensure that your child gets to class on time, it’s best to arrive 15 minutes before the service to register and check-in your child.

An RP Kids team member will show you how to use the check-in system to check in your child. You will receive multiple sticker labels:

  • 1 name label for your child’s shirt

  • 1 name label for your child’s classroom leader

  • 1 diaper bag label (if your child is 2-years-old or younger)

  • 1 pick-up label (you will use this to pick up each child you have with you)

KEY QUESTIONS

  • We offer classes during each Sunday morning service, at 9:00AM & 10:45 AM!

  • We use a parent paging system so that if one of our RP Kids team members needs to reach you during the service, the alpha-numeric code on your pick-up label will be displayed on the small digital screens on either side of the Worship Center. We ask that you keep your pick-up label on hand to reference, so you can respond quickly if needed.

  • We provide a safe and loving environment where babies’ physical and emotional needs are met. We will gladly care for your child as young as you feel comfortable leaving them with us for the duration of the service.

  • All 2 to 5-year-olds will spend time participating in free play, songs, interactive Bible stories, and age-appropriate activities. Toddlers and preschoolers begin building relationships, learning about Jesus, and are introduced to God’s Word. We use Gospel Project curriculum for our Bible story lessons.

  • Elementary students begin and end their service in a small group setting, organized by grade level, where they will build relationships with other students and the RP Kids team members. They will do fun activities, discuss the Bible story, and pray together in their small group time. All elementary students gather together for a large group experience where RP Kids team members will lead them in worship, teach the Bible story, and pray with them. We use Gospel Project curriculum for our Bible story lessons.

  • We use material from “The Gospel Project.” You can check them out here!

  • In order to keep all of our kids healthy and safe, we ask that you do not check your child into Rock Point KIDS if they are ill or have displayed any of the following symptoms in the last 48 hours:

    Fever

    Vomiting

    Diarrhea

    Productive Cough

    Colored Nasal Drainage

Thank you for helping us keep our community and our kids safe!

Special Needs Ministry

Milestones provide opportunities for us to pause, reflect, train, and celebrate God’s calling and work in the lives of our families here at Rock Point Church by coming alongside families and equipping them in their child's spiritual journey.
